Wow, it's finally here. This year marks one of the biggest changes in my life and I'm ready to see what lies ahead. Artistically I want to grow and never stop. There are so many areas of art that I have a passion for, but I feel like I've drifted from one of my most favorites and that's painting. I really really want to get back into it and maybe get out into a gallery like I'd planned too long ago. Design wise, well I'll continue to be on the computer from 8 to 8 every day and since I'll still keep my same job for two more years at the least, the design won't be slowing down anytime soon. Hopefully in Computer Art this semester I can grow even more in my photo manipulation and conceptual art with more guidance. That should be exciting. Right now, the Addy's are breathing down my neck so I need to get on that right away and pull something amazing from nowhere. lol.
As for personally, well, I just hope to survive this semester and really, this year. 18 hours of class, 36 hours of work, infinite hours of freelancing, and planning a wedding by June. Whew! Yep, I'm getting married! That will be the biggest thing in 2009 for me and I can't wait! I just hope to be alive by the time the wedding takes place...ha ha.
2008 wasn't that great of a year and on another hand, I guess it could have been. There were sooooo many changes in the lives of people close to me and I had a really hard time accepting them. Hopefully, this new year marks a new light in my perception and I can only see the good that can come out of the changes in the past. It's not going to be easy, but I know I'm too tired to hold on to the bad feelings I've had for so long. My life looks bright and I have so much to look forward to, so why dwell on the changes of other's lives and let them affect the way I act and feel. It's time to move on. That's what 2009 is going to represent for me. Moving on. xxx

It's going great. A little crazy with ALL the family around and I'm trying to adjust to all the new relationships, especially my sister's boyfriend. Ha ha. But it's been really nice to be home and celebrate with everyone. How is your holiday?
